Oh what a beautiful morning!

You might ask "What have you been up to this weekend?" or probably not. In any case I'm just going to tell you. It was a slow start this lovely Saturday morning, but managed to drag ourselves out of bed, put on some washing and bake some fresh scones for breakfast. Now these weren't just any scones they were scones with french apricot jam and vanilla ice-cream, yum! "Ice-cream for breakfast?", I know! We'd have the mommy police on us in a flash if they got wind of what we where eating, so please everyone keep it hush hush. Next on the list was a photo shoot of some of the beautiful things Bee's been making, which should be attached to this post for all your enjoyment in mind. Then I took up the task of applying all the mathematical power I had to alter a dress pattern that Bee was using to make a new dress and yes you can call me super husband. With all that aside I've found myself here in front of this screen, mentally worn from all the calculations, writing to you!

I've attached some pics of the latest things we've been doing, if anyone is interested to order anything, please email us at zbholl@gmail.com and we'll get prices to you.

So there you are, until next time enjoy the pics!

HEY THERE STRANGER

So sorry about the time that has lapsed since our last entry. You see we've been quite busy with some projects that you might fancy! I've designed some furniture pieces and have finally finished the first of them. It's a beautiful outdoor bench, made up of a solid saligna top and support bar and two, smooth laser cut steel legs, powder coated in a satin black. We are still setting up an ETSY account where you will be able to view all our creations and place orders. Once we've set this up we'll let all of you know. P.S. My wife has been designing and creating some beautiful things for the home. As soon as they're finished we'll post them. Thanks for dropping in!

It's not all in my head

So this morning, I happened to turn to my birthday date in my diary (as one does), and read the small little caption by some 'post-blogger'. You know the ones of old, whose words of wisdom grace the bottom center pages of our diaries. This one happened to be by Ralph Waldo Emerson and went a bit like this.
'Thought is the blossom; language the bud; action the fruit behind it.'

This definitely struck a chord with me, as I've found turning doodles and ideas from pages in my sketch book into something tangible, requires more than just frilly creativity. So this year our aim is to turn these sparks of inspiration into fun usable items, through good old fashioned effort. We're working on a couple of fabric prints @ the mo and look forward to showcasing them soon!

Till next time, Ciao
